What you’re going to do:

  • You will build relationships of trust with small and medium-sized business owners, executives, and HR leaders while motivating them to get the best employee benefits results they want.
  • You will focus, drive, and take the initiative to find new business by cold calling, networking, getting connections, and using other lead sources.
  • You will be able to handle the whole sales process, which includes:
  1. Getting possible clients to believe and agree with you
  2. Being honest when negotiating
  3. Last but not least, executive leadership
  4. Giving presentations for open enrollment
  5. Taking care of renewals
  • You will work hard to keep learning about the laws and rules that govern employee benefits, such as the Affordable Care Act.
  • You will be based in Southern California and work with coworkers in Orange County and across the US from home.
  • You can do your work from home, on the job, or three days a week at our beautiful Irvine office. We will give you the software and tools you need.

Required skills:

  • Life and health insurance card valid in California
  • A full understanding of the market for benefits
  • Having a driver’s license and a safe way to get around
  • Knowledge of how to use and learn agency technology (Applied Epic, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft Office Suite)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales
