Steadily is an insurance technology business that helps landlords get insurance for their rental properties. Over 160 people work for us, we’ve been around for three years, and we help cover over $20 billion worth of rental homes. Our goal is to become the best and biggest owner insurance company in the world.
We’re here to provide quick, low-cost insurance and pay claims quickly and fairly. To do that, we hire the country’s best engineers, analysts, salespeople, and customer service reps to give you the experience we’d want if we were you.
We’re thrilled to be hiring great salespeople for our office in Overland Park, KS! You don’t need to have experience with P&C insurance for this on-site job. We’ll pay for your license and training so you can start right away. There will be other top-notch salespeople around you, which will only help you get better.
What You Are Going To Do
- Take care of inside sales for people who need help getting insurance for their rental homes.
- Respond quickly to buyers who have asked for a quote on our website to turn them into customers.
- Answer sales requests from customers mostly by phone, but also through SMS and email.
- Be flexible so you can use new technology as we improve our processes and routines.
- Talk to our product and tech teams about what you think so we can quickly make our product better for our users.
Your Past
- Experienced: You have been a successful sales worker for at least two years. It’s helpful to have worked in insurance or banking services before.
- Digital: You are good with computers and quickly learn how to use new ones.
- Hungry: You’re driven by your desire to make sales. You like to be competitive and work hard to get things done quickly for your client.
- Self-Driven: You are responsible and know how to do things every day without being told. You carry out tasks without being asked. You don’t mind being responsible for the effects you get.
- Driven: When you’re working toward your goals, you don’t look at the time. To reach your goals, you might have to work longer hours than usual, and you’re ready to do whatever it takes to reach them.
Getting licenses
You have to pass the Property & Casualty license test in your state.
We will take care of getting your non-resident licenses and will pay you for the study materials and one test try if you pass.
Getting paid
$80,000 to $175,000 in total pay, with no limit on how much they can make in commissions. Includes a base salary that is better than the norm in the business.
