At Richey Insurance Agency, LLC, the Personal Lines Producer’s job is to keep profitable relationships with personal line clients and make them even better, as well as to get new customers and grow the business.

What You Need to Do
- Find, qualify, and grow personal insurance chances with new and current clients in person, over the phone, online, and in writing.
- Build and keep good connections with clients and prospects by following up regularly, sending accurate and quick quotes, and providing general account support. Plan for, meet, and follow up on all of your clients’ current wants.
- Actively shop for new accounts, ask current clients to cover more of your work, and network for new clients, including win-backs.
Get the covered the best coverage and rate possible, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage. If needed, follow up with an inspection, photos, and other proof. Show the insured their insurance and teach them about the rates and coverages.
- Build and keep good connections with customers and prospects by following up regularly, sending quotes on time, and providing general account support.

Help clients get ready to renew or stay with you, and keep your relationships with them strong.
Plan for, meet, and follow up on all of your clients’ current wants. - Make sure sales goals are met by keeping an eye on, reviewing, and reporting on key data. Also, make sure that sales activity paperwork is done in a fast, correct, and professional way.
- Work with other people on the team, help guide staff, share your knowledge, answer questions, and attend official and informal meetings as needed.
- Maintain your CE and keep learning by staying up to date on information about the business, new products, laws, insurance policies, and technology. This will help you keep your knowledge and skills up to date.
Required Skills
- Make sure you have the insurance license your state requires and at least two years of experience managing personal and business lines insurance accounts. You should also have a bachelor’s degree or similar work experience.
- Have a legal driver’s license and a safe way to get around.
- Show that you know a lot about insurance goods and how to use them, as well as rating and screening processes, coverages, and how the industry works so that you can get new clients and keep the ones you already have.
- Have a history of making sales to other businesses. Be able to make sales and have good speaking, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- When you’re meeting new clients and taking care of old ones, be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professional aggressive.
- Excellent planning skills, the ability to do hard work without being watched, good business sense, the ability to make good decisions, and excellent writing and spoken communication skills.
- Have great time management skills, work well with others, and know how to use technology and computers, including business management tools.
