What’s the part then?
Since Kin is still building up a new and exciting Agency division, we need to hire a Licensed Sales Agent to help us focus on our Independent trading division. You will be very important to the growth of our business because you will be in touch with clients and promote our wide range of insurance goods through A-rated companies.
As this person, you’ll be able to talk to people and give them important advice about their home insurance needs as well as other goods like car, storm, and flood insurance. The best thing about this job is that you won’t have to make cold calls; our marketing team will bring you approved leads. You will help come up with the best plans to protect the insured’s home and car, as well as personalized quotes to make sure they get the best service possible.
- A day in the life might include calling, emailing, and texting customers to stay in touch; talking to possible customers to find out what insurance they need and how to get it;
- Effectively telling potential buyers about the benefits and features of each insurance company’s goods and answering any questions or worries they may have
- Using company-provided leads as much as possible to increase your sales and conversion rate
- Follow up with your clients regularly by phone, text, and email to stay in touch and move the sale along.
- Regularly meeting and beating sales goals by using appealing sales techniques and actively looking for new business opportunities
- Working together with teams from different departments, like analysts and customer service reps, to make sure customers have a smooth experience
- Making sure that our CRM system keeps correct and up-to-date records of all contacts with customers and sales tasks
- Internal tools and systems are used to make custom rules for each customer.
- Teaching people about the details of home insurance to make sure they fully understand it
- To properly place the Agency section, staying up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and what competitors are offering
I have the skills… but do I have the ones I need?
- Have at least one year of experience selling insurance in a busy company
- Selling experience with more than one insurance company and in more than one state (home, auto, umbrella, jewelry)
- A Property & Casualty card that is still valid
- Excellent knowledge of insurance goods and how they work
- Excellent people- and communication skills, with the ability to connect with and interest a wide range of groups.
- Smart, persuasive, and good at negotiating; naturally able to close deals
- Personally driven and focused on results, with a history of meeting and beating sales goals
- Being able to use CRM apps and other tools and software
- knowledge in a call center or contact center (brokerage knowledge is desirable)

Bonus points if you can speak two languages (Spanish is recommended).
Needs for the Shift
Hours of work: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
