What You Need to Do

– Tell people about life, health, and Medicare insurance plans

– Use good communication skills to explain policy options and benefits to customers;

– Make sales visits to meet with customers in person; – Work with customers to agree on terms and prices in order to close deals; – Help with sales administration tasks like processing applications and keeping client records; – Figure out what the customer needs and suggest the right insurance products;
– Give great customer service to answer questions and solve issues
– Help a wide range of customers by speaking more than one language, including Spanish. – Keep up with marketing trends and strategies to effectively sell insurance goods.
HIPAA rules must be followed when dealing with private customer data. Telemarketing may be used from time to time to contact possible clients.

Qualifications:

Licensed Life, Health, and Medicare Insurance Agent certification; insurance sales experience that can be proven; a history of meeting or beating sales goals.
Good spoken and written communication skills; knowledge of outside sales techniques and negotiation strategies; experience in retail sales is preferred; speaking more than one language, especially Spanish, is highly desired; familiarity with sales administration processes and analysis skills; being able to speak more than one language is an advantage.
– Familiarity with marketing and managing benefits; – Previous experience with customer service, preferably in the insurance industry; – Knowledge of HIPAA rules and how to follow them; – Telemarketing experience is preferred.
