Licensed Insurance Sales Agent – Job Summary
At Polly, we are using technology to change how people buy car insurance. If you are a motivated insurance sales agent who is skilled in using digital tools and focuses on growth, you will probably be very interested in this remote job (work from home). Our qualified insurance agents use Polly’s advanced technology tools to sell.
Job Summary
As a Sales Center Agent at Polly, you will look at information, provide advice, and sell personal insurance plans to customers by:
- Processing about 150 incoming leads each month from eager car owners.
- Work with different transport systems to create and offer customized quotes.
- Provide expert advice and suggestions to our users and clients
- Close sales successfully with a good conversion rate from your many incoming leads (no cold calling).
- Create an excellent customer experience at every interaction.
New Agent Schedule
- The Polly Sales Center is open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM (EST) on weekdays and from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturdays.
- The new agent schedule is from 11 AM to 8 PM ET, four days a week, and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 7 PM ET.
- Schedules will be given based on what the business needs and will start after you finish full-time training.
Training:
- During training, you need to work full-time and be logged in all training hours.
- You will work 8 hours a day, which adds up to 40 hours a week. Your training will include both live classes and time to work on your own.
- Group training hours switch every week for 4 weeks. For the first 2 weeks, training is from Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm. For the next 2 weeks, training is from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm.
- After training, you will start your full-time New Agent Schedule as shown above.
Pay and Benefits
- Our average workers can earn between $55,000 and $85,000 each year. Their base salary ranges from $33,000 to $38,000, based on where they work and their experience.
- What You Need to Succeed
- A current Property and Casualty insurance card.
- More than 1 year of experience selling car and home insurance in a call center.
- Experience working in a busy call center.
- You have experience selling policies from different insurance companies and in different states.
- Strong knowledge in computers, IT, and systems.
- Able to convincingly and confidently make a sale quickly in a busy environment.
- Great at communicating, staying organized, and handling multiple tasks at once.
- Self-initiative to continuously follow up with warm leads to drive deals to finish
- Experience with AMS360, PL Rater, or other grading tools is desirable.
- A home internet link from a big provider that offers at least 25 Mbps for downloading and 5 Mbps for uploading.
