They also account for the fact that people can grow and stay in a job for a long time. Most price offers for new hires fall between the lowest and highest end of a pay range for most applicants. Any job offer given to a candidate will be based on their specific knowledge, skills, schooling, experience, and internal fairness.

What You’re Going To Do

  • Members who want to know more about the insurance goods that SchoolsFirst Insurance Services offers get great service. In charge of getting new plans for Property and Casualty insurance goods that give our members the best coverage, price, and terms. Keeping policies up to date and in order to secure new policies.
  • Provides different ways for potential members to get in touch, such as by phone, in person, or online, so that they can talk about their personal lines insurance needs and financial details.
  • Comparing and evaluating possible insurance products and looking at information from current and potential members is part of the job. The goal is to make sure that each member gets the right advice and strategy based on their insurance and financial situation, risk tolerance, and goals. This includes going over the pros and cons of different insurance goods with Members and describing them.
  • Gives Members personalized help and suggestions on how to buy insurance goods while making sure that contact is consistent, correct, on time, and relevant.
  • Makes quotes for members and figures out the best choices that are out there.
  • As a Member champion, they work directly with insurance companies. This could mean talking about monthly costs and getting the company to agree to write the policy, even though there are risks.
  • Process changes and approvals, such as changing your home, adding or removing cars and drivers, changing your mortgage, and changing your coverage when you get a new policy. In charge of checking in with carriers to make sure that changes and additions are made on time and correctly.
  • Take care of insurance company letters like calls for exclusion forms, job information, mail that can’t be delivered, and questions about possible family members.
  • Responsible for sending complete and correct applications to underwriting or processing endorsements. This includes: ordering and reviewing reports such as the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange (CLUE), Riskmeter, and earthquake and flood zones to choose which insurance company to write a policy with; figuring out the replacement cost; and explaining the process and all application and payment options. Cover the loss; Send proof of property insurance to storage and send an account for the payment; Send SR forms and blanks; Quote, process, and send endorsements.
  • takes care of day-to-day routine tasks, such as following up with members for service.
  • Offers advice to members about credit union goods and services by figuring out what they need, solving their worries, and getting their agreement.
  • It is their job to keep up with the rules for writing and rating all kinds of personal lines policies. Makes sure that all of the screening rules for Insurance Services’ goods and services are followed. Keeps the team and workers informed about changes to insurance goods that affect them.
  • Works closely with Members to meet their ongoing insurance needs. This may include handling policy changes and answering questions from Members about their current insurance accounts in order to get new policies.

Required Skills

Needs a high school diploma or GED
5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role is needed.
