Find new clients, give them quotes, and then close the deal. You can also cross-sell other goods and services and send clients to other lines of business as needed. Help come up with marketing plans and strategies and make sure teams are giving great customer service. Keep good ties with all of your important partners to make sure you keep clients and make them happy. Being an Un-Validated Producer means that the person is trying to meet a production goal and book size based on their pay level so that they can become validated and get extra benefits.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Here is a list of the most important tasks for this job. Other tasks, big and small, may also need to be done that aren’t listed below. From time to time, certain tasks may change.
The first step in production is to find new clients.
b. Give quotes and try to get new clients.
c. Sell extra goods and services to existing customers
2. Marketing: a. Work with Relationship Executives to come up with a marketing plan and strategy, and then work with them to get the best service terms and prices for the client.
3. Customer Service: a. Give clients professional help and information at the right time, and make sure that the marketing, service, and claims teams are meeting their needs.
b. If necessary, collect payments and fees that have been billed
4. Corporate Citizenship: a. Work to build and keep good relationships with clients, the company, and other employees.
b. Improve the company’s image through business, social, and public actions and projects.
5. Product information: a. Learn about your products and services inside and outside your company and keep that information up to date.
b. Stay up to date on changes in your field and keep learning.
6. Other Duties and Responsibilities: a. Any other duties and responsibilities that management gives you.
SKILLS NEEDED
Qualifications Needed: The following standards show what information, skills, and/or abilities are needed. People with disabilities may be able to do the important tasks with the help of reasonable adjustments.
1. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related area that applies, or schooling and skills that are the same or similar
2. The right insurance cards
3. Three years of work in the insurance business or something similar
4. Ambitious, self-driven, clear, creative mind with good communication skills
5. Proven ability to use simple computer programs, like Microsoft Office Suite
6. Able to move, including staying overnight
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. A higher degree
2. Know how to use (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) the Office Suite
3. Knows how to handle requests for proposals
4. Certificates in the field of work
