WHAT YOU NEED TO DO AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Here is a list of the most important tasks for this job. Other tasks, big and small, may also need to be done that aren’t listed below. From time to time, certain tasks may change.
1. Work: Look for new business.
- Get new business quotes and sell them.
- Make marketing ideas that stand out, and be in charge of handling and giving material for Requests for ideas (RFPs).
- Sell extra services and goods alongside the main ones.
- Teach McGriff’s team about Flex and other MEBS offerings.
2. Marketing: Make a plan for the market.
- In charge of making marketing materials, news releases, website content, and white papers for Flexible Benefit Services.
- In charge of coming up with a plan for how to combine Flexible Benefit Services’ products and services with those of McGriff Insurance Services.
- Present to both internal and external groups to get more attention; speak for McGriff in professional, business, political, and community groups.
3. Customer Service: Give professional help and advice at the right time.
- Dealing with disturbances directly and working with other McGriff teammates to keep clients is important.
- Help people with their Open Enrollment needs.
4. Corporate Citizenship: Work to keep good relationships with clients, the company, and other employees.
- Do work, social, and public actions that will help the company’s image.
5. Product information: Learn about your products and services inside and outside your company and keep that information up to date.
- Keep up with changes in the health insurance services business, including legal problems, new rules, and trends.
- Continue your studies.
SKILLS NEEDED
Must Have Qualifications:

1. A bachelor’s degree in a business-related area that applies, or education and skills that are similar.
2. The right insurance cards.
3. Three years of work experience in the insurance business.
4. Self-driven, with a positive outlook on life; well-spoken, creative mind; good at communicating.
5. Respond quickly, professionally, and with a sense of urgency in all situations.
6. Always keep an upbeat and eager mood.
7. The ability to use computer programs like Adobe and Microsoft Office tools well.
8. Able to move, sometimes staying overnight.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. A higher degree.
2. Knowledge of how to fill out requests for proposals.
3. Credentials in the field of work.
