Getting A Job

Our insurance agents use a consultative method to get new and current clients to do business with them. They are independent workers, which means they work for themselves but not by themselves. They spread their income across our property and injury, life, and health lines.

  • Allow them to set their own hours so they can balance work and personal hobbies.
  • Tell people who are interested in our goods and services about them.
  • Work with COUNTRY Trust Bank® Financial Advisors to let clients know about our services and goods.
  • Set up an office and hire people to work there.

Required Skills

Some COUNTRY insurance agents are good at what they do, but all of them are:

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to take risks.
  • Strong speakers who are also very good at business.
  • committed to making and keeping strong links between what they do and what they get in return.
  • Dedicated to achieving professional success by earning the trust of clients.
  • Dedicated to making a good difference in their communities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Property and casualty insurance license from the state * Life and health insurance license from the state * Experience is preferred
  • Licenses for Series 6/63
  • AAMS stands for Accredited Asset Management Specialist.
  • CFA, or Chartered Financial Analyst
  • Accountant who is certified by the public
  • CFP stands for Certified Financial Planner.
  • Chartered Financial Consultant
  • Degree of Bachelor
  • 2 or more years of experience in the insurance or financial services field 5 or more years of experience running a business or being in charge of one

While these permits are not necessary to apply, the candidate’s ability to get them is very important when a contract decision is made.
