Our insurance agents use a consultative method to get new and current clients to do business with them. As self-employed people, they work for themselves but not by themselves, and they:

  • Our collection of property and liability, life, and health lines can help them spread out their income.
  • Allow them to set their own hours so they can balance work and personal hobbies.
  • Tell people who are interested in our goods and services about them.
  • Work with COUNTRY Trust Bank® Financial Advisors to let clients know about our services and goods.
  • Set up an office and hire people to work there.

Required Skills and Experience

Property and casualty insurance license from the state

* Life and health insurance license from the state

Experience is preferred

  • Licenses for Series 6/63
  • AAMS stands for Accredited Asset Management Specialist.
  • CFA, or Chartered Financial Analyst
  • Accountant who is certified by the public
  • CFP stands for Certified Financial Planner.
  • Chartered Financial Consultant
  • Degree of Bachelor
  • 2 or more years of experience in the insurance or financial services field 5 or more years of experience running a business or being in charge of one
  • While these permits are not necessary to apply, the candidate’s ability to get them is very important when a contract decision is made.
