WHAT WE NEED TO FIND
In charge of opening new insurance accounts and making sales within given accounts. Help to build centers of influence (COIs), which are groups of people you can talk to about and sell insurance to. Always presents the company in a responsible way when talking to clients, insurance companies, coworkers, and other people.
A LOOK AT YOUR DAY

  • Gets in touch with current, former, and possible clients to ask for new business.
  • Keeps in touch with leads and answers quickly and effectively to suggestions.
  • Makes and keeps accurate and up-to-date lists of clients to make sure that their needs are met and that they are given insurance information that fits their needs.
  • comes up with custom insurance plans for clients and suggests coverage that is right for them. Looks at clients’ loss risks, needs, and possible exposures that can’t be insured or are hard to insure. pre-screens insurance prospects to see if they can be insured and what kind of danger they pose.
  • Makes sure that clients are informed about how to stop and how much the agency expects to be paid.
    Collects clients’ pre-policy payments when they buy new insurance and gets their signatures on applications as needed.
  • Making sure that clients get the paperwork and information they need for keeping records is important.
    Makes plans, schedules, and outlines of insurance.
  • Works with members of the service team to look over current insurance coverage, improve accounts, and remarket when possible.
  • Documents and automatic files as needed.
  • Takes part in trade shows, workshops, insurance marketing events, telemarketing events, and ongoing education.
  • Writes down information about coverage, limitations, and other specifics on the computerized file. Gives information about non-standard coverage limits and binding rules that lower the risk of mistakes and fees.
  • Always keep up with the CE points you need for your non-residential license and meetings.
  • Keep up relationships with carriers for all key partners in the sales center.
  • Work closely with key people in insurance to make sure that new business submissions are acceptable.
    Assist the training manager with all of your needs for sales training and getting new employees up to speed.
  • Work with the centralized care team to make sure that attempts to keep clients are successful.

HAPPINESS IN THIS ROLE: WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

  • You need and must keep up with a Property and Casualty License from the state of.
  • It is best to have a college degree or three to five years of sales experience in the insurance business.
  • Worked with complicated coverages before.
  • Strong negotiator, loves to fix problems, and gets along with people of all types to make a sale.
  • You need to know about insurance markets, goods, and how to use them. You also need to know how to rate and underwrite insurance policies.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
  • Skill level 8 in Microsoft Office, mostly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Must know how to use computers and be able to learn new software programs.
  • Being able to set priorities and handle many tasks at once in a busy workplace.
  • Willingness to follow all rules of privacy.
  • Being able to work alone and with others is important.
  • Being able to figure and do mental tasks.
