Our Customer Care Center is looking for an account manager to serve as a contact for clients assisted by the Cincinnati Customer Care Center, representing our independent agents.
Starting pay: This job offers a salary between $50,000 and $65,000 a year. The pay is decided based on the applicant’s schooling, experience, area, and their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible employees can get a yearly cash bonus and stock rewards based on how well the company and they perform.
Many areas at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio, offer hybrid work choices, allowing coworkers to work from home several days a week. Depending on your job and duties, there may be flexible work choices for people at offices.
Get prepared to:
- Be the main contact for clients and agencies connected to the Customer Care Center. Find creative ways to solve problems and ensure excellent customer service by being responsible and proactive.
- Manage jobs well by using good time management, planning, and teamwork skills.
- Manage and support insurance plans, including communicating directly with clients.
- Help train new team members when needed. Use technology to look at reports and see how profitable both renewals and new business prospects are.
- Keep the quality and effectiveness of the team’s work high. Manage a specific area size and workload.
- Respond to many requests quickly and accurately, following service standards.
Be prepared with:
- Experience with underwriting or risk selection at an insurance company or agency is needed.
- A valid Property and Casualty Insurance Agent License is required.
- You should be able to analyze situations and make decisions.
- You must be able to explain complicated insurance topics to customers who may not know much about insurance.
- You should also be willing to learn about coverage options, company products, company preferences, and procedures.
- Work independently and pay attention to details. Use different tools and computer systems. Work well with others to achieve goals and be willing to adapt to changes.
Bring your knowledge and skills from:
A high school diploma is needed, but an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is recommended.
You have a valid Property & Casualty Insurance License and need to keep it active by completing state-required ongoing education.
