This is an important job opening that will be based in an office at one of the EECU branch offices in the Dallas/Fort Worth area or nearby. The person chosen will have to go to each office on a regular basis.

Base pay of $40,000.00 plus bonus

About the Job

The person in this role is in charge of making and keeping good ties with members of a financial institution and new clients in order to get more business. To get this job, you need to be good at consultative sales and know a lot about products like life, home, car, flood, and storm insurance. The person in this job will find out what each client needs, look for cross-selling possibilities, and come up with personalized insurance plans. You need to know a lot about both property and casualty products and have shown that you can use your market and product knowledge to offer clients with solutions that meet their needs.

Important Responsibilities and Duties

  • Find, qualify, and grow personal insurance chances with new and current clients in person, over the phone, online, and in writing.
  • Build and keep good connections with clients and prospects by following up regularly, sending accurate and quick quotes, and providing general account support.
  • Plan for, meet, and follow up on all of your clients’ current wants.
  • Actively explore round accounts, ask current clients to be covered by more services, and network for new clients, including win-backs.
  • Keeps up with all personal lines of insurance, such as home, car, life, flood, and umbrella.
  • Works directly with prospects, which could come from loan officers, builders, or real estate agents, to turn prospects into sales.
  • Review customer policies based on their needs and keep coverage up to date.
    Tells clients about rates and coverages.
  • Prepares and handles requests for information, quotes, ideas, applications, references, payments, and marketing efforts sent by email or phone.
  • Does research on and answers complicated customer service problems, as well as suggesting covering.
  • Cross-sells, closes incoming leads, and asks for recommendations to get more clients.
  • Calls potential and current clients and emails them to follow up on leads in order to qualify them and sell goods and services.
  • Inputting information about clients and sales into the systems is their job.
  • Make sure sales goals are met by keeping an eye on, reviewing, and reporting on key data. Also, make sure that sales activity paperwork is done quickly, correctly, and professionally.

Goals and Results

Key goals for the job also include continuing to grow professionally, following the rules, and adding to the success of the team and company as a whole. Building and maintaining good connections with Credit Union workers is an important part of this job so that you can get as many referrals as possible. The Agent will be given clear KPIs for monthly action and output.

Work Experience and School Experience

Someone with one to two years of experience in Personal Lines Sales who has turned leads into customers before.
Banking experience is okay, and the person will get a license.
Must have sold personal lines for at least two to three years and shown they can find, build, and grow their customer base and leads.
You should have a bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related area.
You need to get certificates, licenses, registrations, and/or specialize.

MUST have a current Property and Casualty Insurance License (or General Lines License) or be able to get someone licensed for the right person.
A license to sell active life and health insurance is a plus.
Need to have a current driver’s license.
Must keep up with their continuing education.
