Who you are:
As a Producer, you will review potential clients and hold talks with them to see if Frost Insurance suits their needs. This job is focused on sales and needs strong conversation skills and a good understanding of the insurance products offered by Frost Insurance Agency. You will use your skills, friendly attitude, and competitive spirit to keep up with the latest trends and goods so you can better assist our customers and achieve our goals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Find new business opportunities with current clients, focus on business programs, and find target groups and leads provided by Frost producers and lenders.
- Reach out to potential customers to give them a price and schedule sales meetings.
- Provide services to given accounts when reaching out to possible new customers.
- Ask potential clients about their insurance needs.
- Check the present insurance policies, risk management plans, property, goods, and records.
- Collaborate with your colleagues in the business to finish company submissions and choose possible markets.
- Check to see if the leads meet SBIU or PIC standards and if there’s a Frost Insurance Agency market available to meet the need.
- Gather thorough information about risks and insurance assessments, including population data, poll results, and past loss records.
- Create and present official insurance plans that include information about coverage, limits, expenses, and other important details.
- Meet with clients and potential clients to talk about bids and renewals. Go over all the details and show that you want to do business with them.
What you need:
- You need a bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of sales experience.
- You need a Texas General Lines Agent License, which can be for Property and Casualty (P&C) or for Life, Accident, Health, and HMO, or you must get it within 90 days.
- Great skills in writing and speaking.
- Good ability to stay organized.
- Skilled in using Microsoft programs.

- Proven skill in finding and completing sales.
- Understanding the insurance business.
