What the job is
Someone qualified to sell commercial insurance is needed by Farmers Insurance and The Jose Bravo Insurance Agency in Poway, CA. In this job, you’ll be in charge of finding and getting new business clients. Base pay plus commissions and bonuses for the right person.

Farmers is how we market and sell things like General Liability, Business Owners Policy, Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, and Commercial Umbrella. Some of the things we offer and sell through our Broker arm, Kraft Lake, are. We offer Builder’s Risk, Contractors GL, Professional Liability, Surety Bonds, Commercial Earthquake, and other goods.Restaurants, retail, manufacturing, skilled builders, distribution, business car, and other fields are some of the ones we work with.

You need to have a valid P&C license and work experience in the business insurance field. If you can speak two languages, that’s a plus.

Pay ranges from $8,000 to $10,000 a year.

What You Need to Do

  • Build strong relationships with our business clients so that they stay as customers and keep buying our products.
  • gives ongoing help to clients as needed.
  • People who are looking for new business by following sales leads that come from networking, marketing, cold calling, and lead databases
  • Teach your clients about the business insurance plans that will work best for them.
  • Make connections with business owners, CPAs, lawyers, Chamber of Commerce members, and other professionals on a regular basis.
  • Follow sales leads that come from networking, marketing, cold calling, and lead files to find new business opportunities.

What You Need

  • How to do more than one thing at once, follow through, and follow up.
  • Self-starter who gets things done. Does a good job without much direction.
  • Better than average computer skills.
  • Excellent people-related and communication skills.
  • You need to have a current Property & Casualty license.
  • Have a valid Life and Health Insurance license or be able to get one within 90 days of starting work.
  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree.
  • Have worked in the business insurance field before.
  • Being able to speak English, Spanish, or any other language fluently is very helpful.
  • No convictions for felonies.
