What You Need to Do

We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Producer to join our friendly and busy team at Shamrock Trading Corporation and RTS Insurance Solutions Inc. The Commercial Insurance Producer will be in charge of getting new business, managing a book of commercial insurance clients, making sure that personalized insurance solutions are delivered, and selling other Shamrock services, such as factoring, equipment financing, fuel savings, and trucking software. The perfect candidate will have a strong background in sales, great relationship-building skills, the drive to meet and beat sales goals, and a strong desire to stay up to date on industry trends, new risks, and competitive offerings so they can give clients the best advice and services.

  • Find, contact, and sign up new business clients by networking, cold calling, getting connections, and creating leads.
  • Build and keep strong connections with clients by providing ongoing service, reviewing their policies, and making sure their changing insurance needs are met.
  • Give clients customized insurance choices and work out terms to get their business.
  • Oversee a group of current business accounts, reviewing policies, renewing them as needed, and answering clients’ questions on a frequent basis.
  • Find chances to get more business from current clients by suggesting more services and coverage choices
    Meet and beat monthly and yearly sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), which will help the area and the company as a whole succeed.

Required Skills

  • Ability to make sales, grow a business, and keep clients, ideally in the industrial insurance field.
  • You must have a current state insurance agent license or be ready to get one. You must also have great written and spoken communication skills and be able to explain insurance ideas easily and make solutions fit the needs of clients.
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to handle many clients, projects, and objectives at once.
