Farmers Insurance in Park Rapids, Minnesota, is looking for driven, self-starters to join our Agent Apprenticeship Program. This hands-on program is meant to help the lively Park Rapids community while giving people who want to start their own business the training, support, and tools they need to get ready for agency ownership.

About the Job
As a person Apprentice, you will work closely with a more experienced Farmers Insurance person to learn important skills and gain real-world experience. The University of Farmers will give you the hands-on training and expert advice you need to gain the information and courage to become a business owner.
What You’ll Do
- Learn the Business: Work with an experienced agent to get real-world experience in sales, customer service, marketing, and running a business.
- Develop Key Skills: Get the best training in the business to become an expert in managing client relationships, planning your business, and coming up with marketing strategies.
- Engage with the community: Get to know the people and companies in Park Rapids and become an involved, valued part of the community.
- Get Ready to Own Your Own Business: With help and guidance from District 54 leaders, you can go from being an apprentice to having your own Farmers Insurance business without any problems.

- You should be a business and want to do well.
- You should have experience with business, customer service, or sales, but it’s not necessary.
- Strong skills in talking to people and building relationships.
- Keep a good mood and make a promise to learn and grow.
- Are ready to get the insurance licenses they need (help is given).

Pay range: $15,000 to $18,000 a year
